Brad Gilson’s Page

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:11 pm

Brad Gilson’s page is up at bradgilson.com, gilsonphotography.com, and bradgilsonphotography.com. It’s just a skeleton yet, but the thumbnails make it look great. Waiting for Brad to give me the copyright watermarked full-scale versions of his photos to post before I start the e-commerce functionality. Tried Google’s Checkout on a small gallery on my own page as a trial run. preparing to set up Brad’s. The merchant partner I chose, Mercantec, doesn’t support multiple attributes per item, though. I’ll have to try something else. Google’s buy now button does allow for multiple attributes per item (and, therefore, multiple prices for that item), however, I still want customers to be able to make more than one purchases at a time, and modify shipping costs accordingly. Am hoping google has another free merchant partner that’ll support everything Brad will need for his photograph sales. All in all, I’m pretty happy the site is up and running on his own server with no DNS problems.

  1. Oh wait. Yes, I have. I’m sorry, but I just don’t have it in me right now to type it all out again. Besides, it was just ramblings anyway. You didn’t want to hear me go on and on about this, right?

  2. Please. Go on and on. I’m ready for your constructive criticism. Any vague sarcasm I find useless, I’ll edit out before posting, but I welcome your interest in dispelling your experience to build on my admittedly skeletal repertoire. Be specific about your comments including what you see needs changing, why, and how you would recommend I do it, and I will probably follow your advise. Warm Regards.
